Rev. Dr. Christy Lang Hearlson is Assistant Professor of Religious and Theological Education at Villanova University. A Presbyterian minister, she received her Master of Divinity degree in 2005 from Princeton Seminary and her PhD in Practical Theology also from Princeton Seminary in 2016. She served as Associate Pastor of Christian Education at The Brick Presbyterian Church in New York City from 2005-10. She currently teaches courses about the role of attention in spirituality and leadership, as well as faith and consumer culture, spirituality of children and youth, and holistic pedagogy and the incarnation. Originally from Washington State, she and her family recently moved from the Boston area to the Philadelphia area. She is married to the Rev. Dr. Adam Hearlson, and they have two young sons, Elliot and Eamon.
